Second GTN 750

Featured Replies

I previously purchased a single GTN 750 package. Just want to confirm that if I want a second GTN 750 now I'll need to pay full price instead of the discounted price. Thanks

I am another end user like you.  The GTN 750 package you already purchased is (2) GTN 750 gauges. I do not believe you can use more than (2) 750's, so no reason to purchase a second package.  I have not flown x-plane, but in FSX and P3D they are scripted as GTN 750(1) and GTN 750(2).  Each contains its own settings and configuration, and each stores flight plans separately.  The foundation is the actual Garmin GTN trainer, and crossfill between the two GTN 750 instances is not implemented as Garmin did not build that into the trainer.  Find you RXP documentation in the Windows Start Menu under R and Reality XP.  User's Manual.  It will describe how you have (2) and how to work with each.

You can also purchase an RXP GTN 650 package, which is also (2) 650 gauges.  If you have a capable aircraft model you can mix with the 750, but you will be able to use only (2) GTN gauges in any one aircraft.  So up to (2) 750's, or up to (2) 650's, or one of each.  Again, that is possible only with aircraft models that possess the function to allow two gauges in the panel.
