South Caucasus

The South Caucasus spans the southern portion of the Caucasus Mountains and their lowlands, straddling the border between the continents of Europe and Asia. Located on the peripheries of Iran, Russia and Turkey, the region has been an arena for political, military, religious, and cultural rivalries and expansionism for centuries.   This tour begins in Armenia, enters Turkey for a flyby of Mt Ararat (reputed to be the resting place of Noah's Ark) before crossing the border landing at Yeravan (the capital of Armenia).  The route continues crossing back and forth from Armenia to Azerbaijan, with landings or touch and go’s at eight airports and finishing Baku on the Caspian Sea.

The route is 513 miles long with 9 airports enroute.  A relatively quick aircraft (~250knts cruise) will be preferred.  I will fly the King Air, the TBM930 or a warbird would also be good choices.

I tried to get the G3000 to work again in the King Air (or any other aircraft), but that failed. I get black screens, whether I use the WT Mod or not. A tipp from the forums to replace entries in the panel.cfg resulted in an simulator that would not start.

I'll take the Honda Jet but would be interested, if your G3000 still works.

Hi Gunter,

I just loaded up the King Air with WT G3X mod (v0.1.0) and it seems to work fine for me.  I am running DX12(beta) and TAA Antialiasing.  The G3X also seems to work in the Virus and Vans RV14.

Will check the TBM and Longitude for the WT G3000.

TBM with cockpit mod is broken.   Longitude with FDE update is broken.

 

WT G3000 works in TBM & Longitude once other aircraft mods are removed.

No luck. Same setup as yours but only black screens. TAA or not, DX11 or DX12, no difference.
