Thanks does it tell you the filename the installer is working on when it freezes. try to locate that file then and delete it manually and re-start the intall to see whether that helps. sometimes the installer gets hickups with some files and the remainders need to be cleared manually this way. just a thought. No, It would just go to the "Check for Updates" screen and freeze. I ended up deleting the original sim app and re-installed it and that did the trick. So Far anyways.
