October 6, 20223 yr Dear flying freaks 🙂 Maybe you can help me to understand this better. I can fly the Fenix 320 (and the PMDG 737) from A to B more or less sucessfull. Still learning a lot of things especially in the approaches. But when i want to fly a short test flight, around a certain airport, A to A basically. How do i program the MCDU/FMC? Yesterday i wanted to - take off from LSZH - fly some waypoints around the area - make some free flight experiments - return to the programmed track - land again in LSZH  Did not work: When i initiate the flightplan for example as LSZH/LSZH, then the starting point of the flight seems to change to PPOS in the MCDU. So i could not choose any departure procedure. Do i have to enter a "fake" flight plan, take off and then in the air, modify the flightplan? How would you do that?  Thanks for some hints! October 6, 20223 yr Just tried tht as you did and it worked ok. I entered LSZH/LSZH and nothing else, went to F-Plan and it showed LSZH --- F-PLAN DISCONTINUITY --- LSZH, as expected. I can't think of a reason for it not to work I'm afraid. Rob Jones.

October 6, 20223 yr I just tried with Simbrief LSZH/LSZH and that worked, just had to delete the slightly rubbish two waypoints that it thought I would need. Â Â Rob Jones.
