combatting FPM for add-on airports

I recently got the payware scenery for KMDW by  drzewiecki desgin any my frame rates took a big hit anytime im at or near KMDW.  I have my graphics settings on high and it works well unless im near my add-on.  Is there anyway to adjust settings so that I can increase my FPM's while at this airport and keep my high settings otherwise?  

I'd appreciate any advice you can offer.
