October 16, 20223 yr Author Thank you so much for all this info 🙂 It has been really helpful. I'm a limited flyer full-time job family etc, so can spend less time than I would want to. I can see now that a bit of dedication can make VR work (and I have to say that of course when I do use it, the immersion is incredible). In the meantime, I've splurged on a Bravo, with, if I can get it to work, an alpha and some pedals to follow. One of the questions above was whether I have a HOTAS: yes I do, but as some others say, the dialling with rotaries is the most frustrating - incidentally one of the reasons why I got the Bravo - and then I have some other issues which come to think of it, VR might actually solve - I'll post about this in the right group. Also with the HOTAS (X52), I find the buttons and axes incredibly un-intuitive as soon as one goes beyond basic rudder and throttle plus brake and flap switches, never mind remembering them all... On all of this though, many thanks for now!
