July 9, 200718 yr Yes, I agree, it kinda spoils the experience. But there are so many places, so many situations, it depends. I am totally pro a good mesh, never fly without it. In FS9, I loved to fly in British Columbia, and FSGenesis was a must have. But some airports were litteraly "carved" in the mountains. It was so ugly that completely spoiled the flight. Now, with FSX, it is possible to quickly disable the mesh (it doesn't take more than a few seconds in my system). It is good to have this option when landing in a sunken airport (sometimes it is really impossible to land with the mesh turned on: the runway lies in a pit as deep as h e l l).Justin keeps updating his meshes. If you find a raised lake or a spike, he will fix it, given time. But sunken or raised airports are a MS problem: the airport elevation is wrong. Other then editing the scenery, with takes time and knowledge, the only choice sometimes is to turn the mesh off... :( Sérgio Quadros
