Flight model question

So since the updates that Asobo has made I am really liking the new flight model.  I actually feel like I'm floating in the air and balance feels much more important.  I hopped into the Carenado Seminole to see how that was flying (I haven't flown this in a while) hoping it would also show improvement in the air.  However, nothing seems to have changed and after experiencing the enhancements made by Asobo, it is rather disappointing to fly.  Anyone know if older add-ons need to be updated to take advantage of the new flight model enhancements or is this only going to be seen in the default planes and premium add-ons such as the Milviz C310?
