Wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.I recently installed the FS Genesis global mesh and Cloud9's Xclass for Australia. All has been good but suddenly, the airport I am now ready to leave from on my current round Australia tour, is causing me some strange problems.This airport is a bush strip in Queensland and there are no buildings etc so FPS should be high. However, at the airport and for about 30 secs after leaving the runway, my frames jump between 10fps and 70fps, causing massive stuttering. As soon as I am 30 secs away, my frames return to a solid 60fps or thereabouts. I have visited a few other airports and the problem is apparent at some and not others.Anyone have a clue as to why this might be (its not a game-killer though it might be if I have to land at plenty of airports like this)?Andrew

If it were me I would load filemon and see what is being accessed when I got the slowdowns. You're a genius!! Of all things, my Nokia PC Suite (phone connectivity app) was runnning like mad behind the scenes - uninstalled it (don't use it, anyway) and all is fixed. I have no idea what was triggering it to run thirty or forty file accesses every couple of seconds.Thank you *so* much! It's times like these the AVSIM forums are worth their weight in gold ...
