I see a couple of them in the Microsoft Store marked FREE but not all of them. Why didn't they auto-install?

The DC3 and A310 packages in the marketplace are optional enhancements for the PC versions of the aircraft, they're not needed to use the aircraft.
I'm guessing they didn't include them to either save on downsize, or because of PC and X-Box sharing the same base content.

Every aircraft should have downloaded when you updated the sim. If you're missing any, check the content manager's 'not installed' section, or restart the sim.
