July 16, 200718 yr Is there some way to turn off or modify the way the instrument panel moves around on the screen in its attempt to simulate the pilot's head responding to aircraft movement? This is new with FSX and I am not at all sure I like it. (Sorry if this has been discussed before--I couldn't think of a way to search for it.)Rego
July 16, 200718 yr Try turning off "G effects" on your FSX realism page...Best Regards, Donny :-waveFLYing? It's cool. Trillions of birds and insects can't be wrong.
July 16, 200718 yr Larry N. said the following..."In the cameras.cfg file, the one in docs & settings, not in fsx root directory, under the definition for virtual cockpit you want the line:MomentumEffect = No"Here's the forum link.http://forums.flightsim.com/dc/dcboard.php...17153&mode=fullPhill
July 17, 200718 yr They really should add a slider to adjust that. Its way to exaggerated on some add on aircraft.
July 17, 200718 yr Author In the fsx.cfg you will find the following. You can adjust the numbers individually for the effect you want. I have mine commented out with the slashes as I do not care for the effect at all.[DynamicHeadMovement]//LonAccelOnHeadLon=-0.020000//LonAccelOnHeadPitch=-0.010000//RollAccelOnHeadLat=0.010000//YawAccelOnHeadLat=-0.100000//RollAccelOnHeadRoll=0.100000//MaxHeadAngle=5.000000//MaxHeadOffset=0.300000//HeadMoveTimeConstant=1.000000
