Quest 2 , running steam vr as well?

I Run MSFS via x box app, not via steam

Occasionally when I launch into VR,  i get a black and white image for a few seconds which looks similar to the steam VR loading page.

 

When this happens, performance is dreadful.  I have checked task manger  and no entries for steam vr running.

 

Anyone else see this happen? Anyone know what it is?

I’m a Wally !!  ! User error.  Forgot had been using the headset for F1 2022 and had ramped the resolution  up in the occulus app to 1.5x , dropped it back down to 1.3 and all good .   🙄
