How to disable MSFS default AI planes

Featured Replies

Hello,

I would like to use AIG models in conjunction with MSFS genuine Live Traffic. Actually it works very well now, after SU11, however I'm still seeing "mismatches" where default AI planes are being assigned to valid flights, even though required AI model is present in the sim. With this being said, I'd like to get rid of MS/Asobo AI planes completely. I'd rather have mismatched flight disappeared from the sim completely, than seeing generic AI.

Would appreciate your help

I have the same problem and in another forum following recommendation was given which I was not able to test so far:

Hey, Go to

Official\OneStore\Asobo-aircraft-generic-turbo-multiengines\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_Generic_Turbo_MultiEngines\aircraft.cfg

Then edit the .cfg file so that icao_generic = 1 reads icao_generic = 0

I’ve personally found that if you disable all of the generic planes all live traffic disappears. Maybe leave one of the lesser offenders active
