December 1, 20223 yr Forced into updating X-Pilot for X-Plane 11, I installed it. Now I can't use it. The problem is the sizing of the <Settings> window in X-Pilot - it is not big enough to display all the information and cuts off the <Microphone> and <Earpiece> settings, and anything further down the page. There is no scroll bar, and no screen 'grab' vectors to enlarge the sub-window. As I can't set these, X-Pilot itself does not function. I have tried the suggested remedies of going to the X-Plane 11 shortcut icon and right-clicking, then selecting Properties>Compatibility>Change high DPI Settings, then ticking box for "Override high DPI scaling behavior" and checking "Application" is showing in next line. When I do this and try to adjust the screen size using the 'grab' vector handles (which now appear) nothing happens - screen does not 'grab', except the grab handles now disappear again. [Actually, on the Windows website for Windows 10 they suggest using "System Enhanced" in the above routine, instead of "Application" - the result is exactly the same]. I am beginning to get really frustrated with X-Plane 11 - it appears to be "one step forward - two steps back". Any help, as always, much appreciated. rr Intel i9900K @ 3.60 GHz, nVidia RTX 2080i (11 GB RAM onboard), 32 GB RAM, 2TB HDD, 1TB SSD, 500 GB SSD, ASUSTek Tuf Z390-Plus Mobo (LGA1151); Running P3Dv5.4, MSFS2020 and XPlane11;
December 1, 20223 yr Author I have found an answer - start X-Pilot on my main 28 inch monitor. If I start it on the 23 inch second monitor, then it gives the problem as described previously. It's odd, as I have always started X-Pilot on the smaller monitor before today, with no problems. rr Intel i9900K @ 3.60 GHz, nVidia RTX 2080i (11 GB RAM onboard), 32 GB RAM, 2TB HDD, 1TB SSD, 500 GB SSD, ASUSTek Tuf Z390-Plus Mobo (LGA1151); Running P3Dv5.4, MSFS2020 and XPlane11;
December 1, 20223 yr The problem seems to be with the x-pilot client, an external plugin, not with x-plane itself. You might want to report your feedback on their own forum for them to look into it.
