July 25, 200718 yr >anybody can explain what means the caret symbol in several>commands definition (option - settings - controls - buttons>...) ?>see events Look Reset ?Hey Jas,The caret simply means upon release of the said key. Such as:Look Up/Right (snap) Shift + Num 6 + Num 5 -- by pressing the Shift key, Numpad 6 key, and the Numpad 5 key will cause the view to look up and to the right. Where as:Look Up/Right (snap) ^ Shift + Num6 + Num 5 -- by releasing the Shift key, Numpad 6 key, and the Numpad 5 key will cause the view to "snap" back to its previous position. If you notice the caret always appears with the same name view just above it in the Settings, Controls, Buttons/Keys tab.Hope this helps,Scott
July 25, 200718 yr Author I'm not sure I understood well.Is it like a lock for making the view change permanent ?Shift and holding = temporary.Shift not holding (i.e. releasing the shift before the other keys) = permanent. Is that ?
