December 13, 20223 yr I used today to test stability of the sim (and my PC). I did a series of flights without restarting the sim or going back into the main menu. Addons used: FENIX, PSxT, all airports were ORBX except for LEAL which was freeware, GSX, Little NavMap, FSLTL & AIG for traffic models. The route was comprised of EGNT > EGAA > EGGD > LEAL > EDPF -- Divert EDPH. There was anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour on the ground between stops. Real time, real weather, no fast forwarding, and used PSxT Live traffic as well. EGNT > EGAA Uneventful, short, awesome flight with low visibility and a beautiful sunset. No issues or performance degradation. EGAA > EGGD No big issues or performance degradation. However, upon finishing push, the Fenix's brakes were hot...cleared that in the maintenance page and it fixed the problem. EGGD > LEAL GSX push crew disappeared right before starting pushback....But going into the menu and selecting "pushback" again, fixed the problem. Other than that, no serious issues or performance degradation. GSX brakes hot issue again, though... This flight was interesting though, because I had to do a Go-Around at LEAL for traffic on the runway. Since there was no rush in competing the flight, it was good practice, and added another layer of complexity to the simulation allowing for errors to crop up. Go around went smoothly, and the sim performed very well. LEAL > EGPF -- Divert EDPH Of course the last flight had to be problematic, though, there was no performance degradation at all. GSX brakes hot issue again... This was the first time I had to restart PSxT, somewhere along the flight, it lost connection with the sim, but after restarting it, it worked fine. The flight overall went very smoothly....RIGHT UP UNTIL final approach at around 1000.' I've seen this wind bug before, but not this low....the wind on final for 24 into EGPF shot up to over 100 knots from the north. I initiated a go-around to circle back for another approach. Gotta give the sim the benefit of the doubt, could have just been weird weather issue for that last update. When I came back around, it was even worse, recovering at 30 feet. I decided to divert to EGPH because it could have been an issue with that specific area. Landing in EGPH, the winds were also pretty strong...stronger than what was reported, but at least the wind was down the runway. After landing successfully, everything was fine. GSX worked, PSxT worked, the plane had no issues, even after all of these flights, multiple go-arounds, pushbacks with GSX (even with the few annoying bugs). No sim crashes, no hiccups....just an uneventful sim experience. EGPF first approach: EGPF second go-around: AMD 9950X3D | 64 GB RAM | RTX 5090 FMR: 747 FO, 757/767 CAPT, 737 Check Airman Current 777 CAPT
