December 23, 20223 yr I really want to find a way to create objects, in this case model and apply it to a scenario in my FS2004, I would like to model it, and then find some way to convert it and apply it inside the simulator by ADE for example. ..
December 23, 20223 yr FS9 was supplied with a copy of GMax in a subdirectory on the CDs, if I remember correctly, but I could never get on with it, so I bought a copy of FSDS (Flight Simulator Design Shop) from Abacus, who, unfortunately, are long gone, so if you find a second-hand copy, make sure you get a serial number! The relevant question might be "what sort of 'objects' do you anticipate creating"? SceneGenX has a built-in ability to generate "custom" default buildings, which can be wonderfully low in memory use if you just want a group of industrial-type units or a row of buildings that don't need close scrutiny. There are probably "more modern" utilities available for photo-realistic features, but I've not kept up with that side of things, being satisfied with the tools I've got.
January 1, 20233 yr The (payware) Abacus-EZ scenery program is also very "handy" for using "Library fie" scenery objects included in other sceneries within your existing FS9. However, only for your own personal use because of possible copyright issues when posting your own created sceneries containing these objects. AI aircraft can be made static by using the MAAM program, which turns them into separate "libray files" and which can then be placed anywhere using the EZ program. Via one of the EZ drop down menues it's even possible to, upon it's startup, create a listing of all existing "library" files found within your FS9. You can then select any of their scenery objects for placement in your own sceneries. Good luck and all the best for 2023. Hans
