At night time, XP 12 Zibo mod AP panel buttons not lit

Recommended Posts

Guys, I've been with X-Plane for just three weeks, after I got a refund from Microsoft and uninstalled MSFS 2020. Please be patient with me.

During night time the buttons on autopilot panel are not lit. I mean those green lights - perfectly working and seen at day time - they don't come up at night time.

It is not a drama as all information is on EADI panel. But those lit buttons would be convenient.

I would appreciate your assistance in this matter. Thanks!

If anyone round these parts isn't patient with you, just point out their lack of patience means they are a terrible pilot.

You can use CTRL+K and CTRL+L to fast forward/backward time, I don't do much 737 or zibo (loath the airframe, but that's another story), but since I was messing with XP12 generally I fired up the default 737 and took this

please could you be more specific about what isn't "coming up". I think missing lights at this point is something that would get caught quickly (not necessarily tho), I know zibo simulates not engaging the AP unless its trimmed such that there is no yoke input, there's also a dimmer switch just to left of center in the above SS (which turns the lights back green on default at night instead of blinding white)

Thank you sir!

It actually was quite a nice flight from Adana (LTAF) to Istanbul (LTFM). And it went smoothly. Simbrief made an excellent flight plan.

I tried to insert an image but failed. Perhaps I should refresh my memory reg. AVSIM upload policy.

Thank you for your response!

I'm using

pretty happy with it as a store for images being discussed (that gdrive is asking for permission)

AP is in CMD, so I'd say you caught a bug, next step is, are you definitely on the latest build of the zibo? XP12 lighting was changing right up to the last second before its general release, there may already be a fix out for it.

And also, is it definitely the one for XP12.

I'm afraid I don't know much about how to report issues for the zibo or get updated when they are resolved (it's also not something Laminar can help with), I know there is a subforum on the org but the organisation there is abysmal, there was

https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/157356-zibo-updater-aircraft-download/

but it died back in April and I've no idea what if anything replaced it. 😥

EDIT: looks like it moved to x-plane.to

https://x-plane.to/file/309/zibo-mod-b737-800x

edit #2 AND there's a discord server linked out there https://discord.gg/ps6gKTJ

Anyway I will make a research and follow those those links.

Thanks again!
