I deleted the ASOBO version prior to running the iniBuilds installer and the new scenery looks amazing. This scenery is the latest addition to my 'payware only' sim (all other scenery mostly from Orbx Central) so I might as well take this opportunity to ask if it is always 'good practice' to remove default sceneries before installing third party sceneries? You can remove it either before or after you install the addon scenery, but make sure you remove it. I keep track of all my addons in an excel document and whenever an airports's ICAO code shows up twice that row lights up. I've added all the handcrafted airports for this as well, but it also prevents me from buying the same airport twice, unless I want to in which case I know I must disable the other one. I only ask because I don't recall deleting anything in the past and with over 30 payware airports, I only found 2 duplicates (which I have now deleted.) I saw the useful comment about toggling the '3 dots' (perhaps MS could make those buttons less ambiguous) but anyway, still only found the same 2 duplicates to delete. A very useful/practical post for future reference... learn something new every day 🙂 Edited January 11, 20233 yr by slicker55 i9-12900K 3.20GHz | Z690 Hero | 64Gb DDR5 5200MHz | RTX3090 O24G | 2TB Firecuda 530 M.2 | RM1000x | H170i ELITE | Corsair 7000D | Samsung Neo G9 | TrackIR | ButtKicker | HC Bravo | TM TCA Boeing Yoke & TCA Sidestick | TM TPR Pedals | Logitech Multi/Radio Panels | WinWing FCU1/EFIS/MCDU/PAP3MAG/PFP3N/PFP7 | Win 10 | MSFS 2024 | (rev. 08/2025)

A very useful/practical post for future reference... learn something new every day 🙂 Only handcrafted or third-party addons show up in the content manager. Default Generic airports don't appear since the come as part of a big package. They should be automatically excluded by addons. Handcrafted addons by Microsoft/Asobo are really not different from those from third parties, even if they come as part of a World Update. All addons (should) contain an exclusion zone which suppresses default/generic scenery. That zone is the area that is covered by the addon. Problems arise when 2 addon airports occupy (part of) the same area because although they both suppress the default scenery they don't suppress each other. MSFS cannot decide which of the 2 airports should "win" so both are shown. The order in which scenery is loaded might be a way to decide that that isn't a reliable method so disabling the ones you don't want is sensible.
