August 10, 200718 yr How do you access (or find) the default airport afcad files in FSX? My guess is that it is embedded in one file.Thanks.Abe
August 10, 200718 yr Hello Abe,There are no default airport AFCAD files. AFCAD was the name of a tool by Lee Swordy for making new airport files or modifying the default AP (airport) files in FS 9 and previous. In FS X, the files are prefixed APX (airport X) and can be found in the relevant scenery folders. To determine the correct folder and APX name, please see the Terrain S.D.K. documentation that indicates the use of the TMFViewer for this purpose.Best regards.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
August 11, 200718 yr Author Thanks Luis. I'll check that out.Meanwhile, I discovered that there is a program "SDE090" has a scanner built-in that displays all the airports. Very nice interface.Cheers.Abe
