QW 787 HUD graphics too small

Recommended Posts

The HUD graphics of my QualityWings 787 do not fill up the visor screen. They are about half the normal size. I tried changing P3D graphics options (they are all set to the max), but to no avail.

The QW support forum is not a very active place and I have seen no response to my questions there.

Does any of you have an idea?

The HUD is a projection, it's always the same size in your eyes, if you back out (use ctrl+Enter/Backspace) to let the "screen" looks smaller, it'll feel up.

you can use +/- to adjust your FOV for the best view you want on a monitor.

Thanks very much. I will give that a try.

Of course a combination of TrackIR and Chaseplane is always the reason of these things.

I’ll report back 👍🏻🙏🏻

Okay … that worked … as far as the HUD is concerned. I had to uninstall Chaseplane.

TrackIR prevents CTRL BACKSPACE/ENTER

I see I can set Custom Cameras but can I assign them to a key/button?

TrackIR is nice but not really if you want to look far up/dn

I also use TIR but the default view is good enough so I won't need to move the view via Ctrl+En/Bs.

I don't use Chaseplane, but from what I have heard it can set it's own view point with TIR? anyone knows about that?
