January 26, 20233 yr Can someone please help here. I reinstalled Windows and to my horror after reinstalling MSFS, all my training, flight scores, etc. have disappeared. I have a backup of the AppData/Local/Packages folder. Any advice on how I can get this data back would be really appreciated! I thought this was all stored in the cloud!
January 26, 20233 yr I installed a new system recently. I made a backup of the complete C:\Users\<Profile>AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator folder and restored it into the corresponding place in the new system. Nothing was lost this way. I only had to modify the line InstalledPackagesPath "D:\MSFS" in UserCfg.opt corresponding to the new path. This is the Steam edition.
