February 1, 20233 yr The default FS9 includes quite some different runway/taxiway textures, each being editable via freeware programs such as the older but far simpler to use Afcad program and also via the more detailed and far "higher-tech" ADE program. However, if you would wish to create your very own custom runways and/or taxiways then you will need to use very specific (addon) scenery creation programs, via which any custom textures can then be used. All in all, not something to regard as being very simple for any beginner and which needs quite some experience. In this respect I would therefore want to advise you to Google both the Afcad and the FS9 version of ADE, to download/install either of them and to proceed from there. In this respect you could also download/install one or more freeware addon airport/airfield sceneries in order to gain some experience from those. Good luck and regards. Hans
