Radar Contact - yes, no??

Im growing tired of being vectored all over the place, and into existing traffic during IFR flight plans, and have been looking at Radar Contact. Is the 40 bucks worth it? What are the pro's and con's from people that actually use the product?I will be running the addons in my sig, will adding this have any detectible FPS hit??
