Hi,

I am having trouble starting the Garmin 430 and 530 in the Cessna 172 Classic. They power up with the Avionics switch but nothing appears on the screens except  " Conducting Self Test.  I wait for several minutes but nothing happens and the control knobs don't seem to work with the display screen. Any ideas?  Thanks.   Tom
