CPU Upgrade Advice Please

I have an Asus MB (TUF B360M-E) with 32Gb Ram and an Intel i5-9600 CPU @3.7GHz. My GPU is Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super. (Dedicated Video mem 8192MB GDDR6)

I wonder if upgrading my CPU will help my MSFS Performance. If so what would be the best upgrade option.

Upgrading cpu helps mainly for terrain lod and ai traffic, you can use higher settings for them. But for graphics(clouds, anti aliasing, shadows etc)you should upgrade your gpu too. Besides New amd 3d CPU’s will be released at 28th February. They will probably be the best cpu for msfs 2020 for now.

Thanks that's helpful. I find the choice of an Intel upgrade confusing.
