Hi, Has there been a change in some part of the SIM recently that could explain why I am suddenly plagued by stuttering video and broken up sound? I don't have very high powered system but it ran pretty smoothly. Any help appreciated as the game is pretty well unusable now. PC Win 11 (up to date) Intel Core i-5-9600K (not overclocked) 32 GB RAM. Nvidia G-force RTX 2060 Super. Driver 572.42 Happy to provide more info if it helps. John

I contacted the writer of EGPH and they said they used all the default ILS stuff from MSFS and didn't change anything. John

I did an ILS flight into EGPH with the add on installed and it worked perfectly right down to the tarmac! The only things missing were in LNM :the ILS tag in facilities in the Select Runway dialog and the green glideslope in the Elevation Profile.

No doubt it's the EGPH add on scenery that's the culprit. Remove it and the ILS re-appears. I'll get on to the company. I'm sorry I've used up your time but I really appreciate your interest and help. John

I seem to have stumbled on the problem area. I tried other destination airports with ILS and they work as normal with glidepath showing. Only EGPH (Edinburgh) shows no ILS even though it should have and it has ILS feathers on the map. But on the select airport/runway dialog it doesn't show ILS. There are approaches with ILS. I had scenery for the airport. I've uninstalled it but still no ILS at EGPH.

I wanted to post a screenshot but couldn't find a way. Only a URL...

So I did all that and it's still missing, the View>Navaids>Show GLS/RPN Approach Paths is greyed out and on the FP Elevation Profile, Show GLS/RPN is selected. John

Thanks Alex. I'm looking at EGPH runway 24 approach. I know it has ILS. MSFS2020. No Navigraph. The odd thing is that I have flown this approach so often (my local) and it always showed the handy green glideslop in the elevation profile.

After update to latest version, I can't show the green ILS glideslope into airports with ILS. The option to display is greyed out in the menu. Pity, I found it so useful. Any help?

Yes with bonjour disabled it happened again.Pause on task switch is unchecked and I thought I had heaps of memory even though FSx can't use all of it. Sadly so many things check the net now and again...

Always run as Administrator. Lookin through active processes, is it possible 'bonjour' could be the culprit? I've disabled it and so far so good for the first time in weeks...

I just got a new BT router a couple of months ago - changing isn't really an option. :smile:

Help! I can't figure this out alone. FSX collapses to the toolbar and is paused at random. Most times if I hover the mouse the small screen appears and I can click into it and resume my session. Some times not. I have disabled Kaspersky AV - no difference. Event Log shows nothing so I dont find it easy to trace the fault. Happens in various locations around 15mins or so into a flight. Baffled - Help please John Win 10 64bit. Intel i7-6700 @3.4 Ghz. 16 GB Ram. NVidia GeForce GTX980. FSX Acceleration. ORBX Global Base, Global Vector, Open LC Europe

Resounding silence. Well I established that FTX Scotland and England were at fault by elimination.Once uninstalled and reinstalled, setup is OK. It might help someone else sometime. J

Hi I have Global Base, Global Vector, Open LC Europe, HD Trees plus Ftx Scotland and England. I had FSX Deluxe SP2 and everything was perfect. I removed Sp2 and installed Acceleration pack and now all my scenery is haywire. No roads and land out of place in rivers,vehicles in fields etc. I removed Acceleration and reinstalled SP2 and am back to FSX DeLuxe SP2 but the scenery is still a mess. Should I remove and reinstall all Orbx stuff? If so how do I remove it? Is there a correct way. Thanks for any advice. John
