Thanks...We tried....J

Do you mean controls, or do you mean gauges? You can fly with the 2D cockpit in "instrument view" which just shows the basic dials, but look around like you were in a mostly-invisible VC -- when you pan your view to the edge, the VC appears. If you want to see the controls, but nothing else, kind of like Wonder Woman's airplane, well, that's tough. There's some older video card drivers that cause a corrupted VC kind of like what you are describing. Or, you can learn GMax and model your own custom cockpit, so it is possible, but Bill's answer is the most correct.Probably the best compromise in FSX is to learn to love the the Trike or the Robinson: great view outside, minimalist dashboard!Jeff ShylukSenior Staff Reviewer, Avsim

Yes.... I was trying to avoid going to straight gauges (Flat Cockpit) ...as I like the realism of the VC with the lower guages and wheels..ect..where they would be,,......that being said I did not know about the pan in "cockpit" view..idea...I will try....again thank you ,,,Jareth
