April 14, 20233 yr Hi, I have used MCE with Pf3 ATC together for years but now have a problem I haven't encountered before. Despite searching forums I can't seem to find this precise one replicated anywhere, so any support gratefully received. I am using P3D v5.3. Pf3 ATC latest beta version 3.19.32 although this problem started with the previous stable build. MCE 3.0.32. Again ((from memory) the problem appeared with the previous version 3.0.28. Updating both did not eliminate it. The issue is that it all works as always, the FO communicating normally with me but I do not hear him responding to ATC. ATC obviously "hears" him, and proceeds as normal. If I ask the FO to acknowledge ATC he obliges and I hear a radio signal but I don't hear him speak. I have checked all settings on both programs, run Pf3 as Administrator, use closed captions there as well. It occurs consistently with all airports, aircraft and regardless of what level of FO involvement in Pf3. I suspect it may be something obvious that I'm just not seeing and unsure whether the problem relates to MCE or PF3? Any help appreciated. Robair
April 14, 20233 yr Author I have just solved my own problem! Checked all files in both MCE and Pf3. In Pf3 I found an MCE ini file reading Active=0; Logged =0; Pf3 Transmitting =0. Changed these all to =1 and everything works as it should. I have no idea what caused these to be turned off, have to assume something to do with updating but pleased to have Clive talking to ATC again. Cheers, Robair

The option is disabled by default and may be l,ost when you re-install PF3. Here is a thread where you can get all the tips about using MCE with PF3 Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
