Meta announced a performance upgrade for Quest 2's CPU and GPU when they release the Quest 3 

Will that translate in a (modest?) positive effect on MSFS performance I wonder ... or is the performance of the PC to which the Quest is connected really the only deciding factor?

It won't matter for connected PC apps, the faster internal processors will benefit the native applications, that are being executed locally in the headset and work without a PC.
