July 6, 20232 yr My buddy is working on an accurate simbrief profile for the new 74, and it came to my attention that he wasn’t loading fuel correctly. This is a very rough “how to” load fuel properly using the word not allowed in-sim payload manager, until WT incorporates a built in W&B manager. He’s writing to GSX to see if they can change the fueling through the manager there by reading the simbrief profile, but my guess is they use the same default load planner. Main tanks 1&4 must be full prior to adding fuel to reserve 1&4. Mains 1&4 can only be full if mains 2&3 have equal to or more than full tanks 1&4 + reserve. Only after Mains 1&4, 2&3, and both res tanks are full can the center and stab tanks be fueled. The reserve tanks are effectively extensions of main tanks 1&4. If mains 1&4 and 2&3 are the exact same quantity, the reserve tanks must be empty. if this is confusing, don’t worry, I can provide fuel load examples if needed. FYI I work in KGs.
