October 21, 200718 yr I was playing with this cool program, and found a way to change the altitude, to clamp to the ground. Then overlaid the original, with the altitude, over the top to create this.It gives a better perspective to my approach pattern, in this case left downwind. Thanks goes out to the creators of this handy dandy program!!
October 22, 200718 yr Ahh, I really like this!If you don't mind, I'll incorporate a line "shadow" as a feature in a new version :)Warm Regards,Mike WilsonEvolved Software StudiosCreators of FSX Google Earth Flight Recorder (free)
October 22, 200718 yr There is an easier way (if you don't want to wait for the next version which does this automatically for you :))Right click the FSXRecordedPath and select "Copy", then right click your places and select "Paste". Now you have two tracks, but both are on top of each other.Right click your newly created track and select "Properties".Select the "Altitude" tab and change it from "Absolute" to "Clamped to Ground".Change to colour to something like yellow and voila!Alternatively, wait for version 1.6 of FSX Google Earth Flight Recorder!Warm Regards,Mike Wilson
