Flyingiron P-38 Primer and Starter Switches

Recommended Posts

I was trying to bind the primer and start switches to my CH throttle quadrant switches, but can't seem to get them to work.

I can get default ones, like magnetos and landing lights switches to work but these two are tough to figure out.

Has anyone got these working?

Thanks,

Ed

I figured it out.  I had to put in the value to make it work.

Engine starter 1

0.0 Up or Left

1.0 Off

2.0 Down or Right

It's nice to use buttons instead of the mouse.

You have to go under the Scripting tab and read the LVARs,

They with show up under Local Simulator Variables.

I'm sorry, but I don't have that plane.

An alternative to reading the LVars is using the MSFS developer mode, Tools->Behaviors, then clicking back into the sim, hovering the mouse over the knob/lever/whatever and then press Ctrl&G. This will reveal the behavior code, and looking at the "ASOBO_GT_Interaction..." or "ASOBO_GT_MouseRect" components you should be able to find the proper BVar, LVar, HVar, K-Event or script code.
