Getting run time error 8005 with CPflight MCP unit

Recommended Posts

Anyone have a CPflight MCP unit.  Mine is from 2004, but it was working fine in 2020, when I last turned on my sim.  Everything is working as then except CPflight MCP unit.  I keep getting this error when I go to click on CPflight mcp:

Run Time error 8005
Port already open.

Not sure why I can't use the MCP unit with Project Magenta and P3Dat happened.  I have not updated anything since 2020. P3D, Project Magenta, SPAD and other items are working fine.

I dont know why you get this error message, but have you updated the driver for p3d from cpflight? I think the last one is newer than 2020. My mcp panel works well in both p3d v5 and fs2020 .
