Time and date reverting back between flights

Featured Replies

Recently, MSFS decided to start up and force me to redo all of my settings and date I want to use, it reverts back to the current time and date when I finish a flight and start a new one.

Previously, once I had set the time and date for 1st June at noon, for example, when I ended the flight and started the new one, the time and date would stick from the previous flight.

I've been through all of the settings half a dozen times and cannot seem to figure out what is causing this change in behaviour which is quite irritating knowing that it didn't do this before.

Can anyone point me towards what I might be missing?

Thanks.

Am I really the only one who has ever encountered this or have I missed something obvious? Surprised that nobody else has come across this or can provide a clue.

AFAIK, MSFS has always reset the time and date to current. I frequently start flights earlier in the day (when it is still light) but never has MSFS done that automatically for me; it always defaults to real time.

Thanks orchestra_nl.  Oddly renaming the community file, starting msfs, closing msfs then renaming the community file back and restarting msfs seems to have fixed it.  Odd though because I never made any changes to the content of the community file or anything else so I can't really explain why that worked.
