October 30, 200718 yr Since installing Acceleration whenever I fly a FSD aircraft during stormy conditions the rain textures cause a complete VC cockpit whiteout...this is in DX9 mode. Default aircraft are not affected.Has anyone else experienced this happening with their FSD planes?I just want to make sure it's not some unique problem on my end. I have reported the problem at the FSD forum. November 1, 200718 yr Author Actually I get a grayout of the cockpit windows not a total cockpit whiteout.Would greatly appreciate it if someone else would run acceleration in dx9 mode and start a flight with any fsd aircraft and manually set the weather to rainy conditions. For some reason all my fsd aircraft's windows become grayed out by the rain textures (snow is ok)...remove the rain and the windows become transparent again. No other aircraft have been affected. Here's an example sitting on the runway with rain: System: Rysen 7-9700X, MSI Pro X870-P WiFi AM5 Motherboard, Team T-Force Delta 64 GB DDR5 6000 Mhz, Corsair RM1000x80 PLUS Gold, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Super Windforce 12GB OC, NVIDIA Drivers 610.47, 2TB WD Blue SN580 NVMe m.2 SSD for Windows 11 Home, 2TB WD Black SN850X NVMe m2 SSD for MSFS & Steam, LG 27GX700A-B 280 Hz OLED 27" 2560x1440 280Hz Monitor, Thrustmaster Airbus flight stick, Logitech M510 wireless Mouse.
