I believe "DAD" is thinking of the Aerosoft DH6-300, a similar high wing aircraft. Because I use Air Hauler I've been flying the ATR-42 in MS2000 for years and have experienced very few problems with the aircraft but perhaps my expectations are much lower.

This is my first MSFS Beta. I have the Steam version do I need to do anything after SU16 ends or will I automatically transition to the release candidate?

After purchasing a new PC last December I've flown MSFS2020 almost daily without any CTD's errors or any other flight loading problems UNTIL last Thursday when after selecting the Fly button it would hang at 90% and not load the flight even in Safe Mode. I tried updating my NVIDIA drivers using DDU, deleted various caches, had Steam verify files, did a complete MSFS reinstallation, did a sfc/scannow but nothing worked and all my other programs continued to work just fine. This morning after pulling what remained of my hair I decided to join the SU16 Beta and now everything works as before and I'm currently in the middle of a four hour flight with all my add-ons running in the backgound and so far so good. Any ideas why the Beta worked while everything else I tried failed???

After clean installing these drivers yesterday I noticed this morning that my PC was still running and my Hibernate/Sleep settings were no longer working so switched back to old reliable 566.36 and now everything is back to normal. I did try a long flight yesterday with MSFS 2020 using the new drivers and didn't experience any problems with DX11.

Also in Texas but not having a problem flying today with MSFS2020 but I'm not using the latest NVIDIA drivers.

I purchased a Cyberpower computer with an AMD 7800x3d cpu on September 4th to replace my aging i7-11700k system but soon after installing WIN 11 and a few other programs I started to get BSOD's (Important process Failed and had to Reboot) errors and there were no Windows dump files or anything in Event Viewer. I tried several things like reseating my RAM and checking for loose connections and trying a different GPU and even resetting windows but nothing helped. I then contacted Cyberpower and they told me to return the computer for repair but with only two weeks of my 30 day return window left I opted for a full refund instead. It cost me $80 via UPS to ship it back but I did receive the full $1750 refund. I am now waiting for the new intel Arrow Lake chips or the AMD 9800x3d to be released before purchasing another PC but you can be sure it will not be from Cyberpower.

I'd like to see the Fokker 50. Owned the FSX & XP11 versions and really enjoyed flying it.

I always start the AIG Traffic Controller & MSFS at the same time and AIGTC is always up and running long before MSFS is fully loaded. By the time I set up my flight and am sitting at the gate the airport is full of traffic.

I purchased KCMH but discovered that none of my UT2 traffic will work with this airport. They will show up parked but act like static aircraft. After an hour of observation didn't see any takeoffs, landings or any other AI ac movement at that airport. I then checked the other FSXCenery airport I bought (KMDT) and had the same results...only parked dead ac that never "wake up". Wish this guy would spend a little more time developing and testing his airports instead of cranking them out one per week.

KDCA is on sale at SimMarket right now for EURO 11.70. I also recommend TROPICALSIM's KSTL, KEYW & KSAN also on sale.

The other thing that folks seem to overlook is that the reason Allen doesn't have a UTX product for Asia, South America & Africa is because the commercially available geographical information system data for those areas are poor or incomplete.

After installing UT2 and all the schedules and updated livery graphics a. Download and unzip this file: http://gex.flight1.net/forumimages/UT2_MipMap.zip b. Open the UT2 MipMap.cfg file in NOTEPAD then click in the notepad menu EDIT: then REPLACE in the FIND WHAT box, place this text exactly as posted: ENTER PATH TO FSX HERE In the REPLACE WITH box, enter the exact path to your Flight Simulator folder install directory. Type the EXACT PATH and directory name in the REPLACE WITH box: EXAMPLES: If you installed FSX to the directory D:\FSX then type that exact path/directory name into the ‘REPLACE WITH’ box If you installed FSX to the directory D:\Flightsim X then type that exact path/directory name into the ‘REPLACE WITH’ box c. Once you have confirmed the correct path to FSX on your system has been entered click REPLACE ALL d. Once complete close the search box and then save and close the UT2 MipMap.cfg e. Just wonder what's the percentage of folks who actually fly the whole world? As for me, I'm only interested in North America, Europe, the Caribbean & the northern half of Venezuela so spending $99 on new lights and possibly better textures then GEX doesn't make much sense to me.

UTX also provides correct coastlines & missing roads, rivers, streams, bridges and repositions airports to their actual location. Only FTX regional packs would provide this type kind of coverage.

Gibaba, Reference my above post, what files does FFX change and does it modify any UTX or GEX files? Also, if I uninstall FFX does it put everything back the way it was or would I have to reinstall UTX & GEX?

I noticed that there's a Full Forest X directory under Addon Scenery with a cache sub directory containing a bunch of .agn files. Are those the files that FFX is using to display their trees? I'm wondering because the files seem to be the same size and date as the original files in the Scenery/World Texture folder. Also the tree textures that are located in the Scenery/Global directory are unchanged so I'm wondering what files did FFX modify?

Richard, do you have GEX or UTX installed? Just wondering if it was compatible with those products.
