Didn't look like this had been posted - sorry if its old news - only the amphib to go now...

Got it installed it's pretty nice - they do a nice job on the TMA livery.  Though is it just me or is anyone else tired of the same "zebra" prop texture?

  • 1.03
    AP fixes
    Engine start fix
    More GPS tweaks
  • 1.03
    HOTFIX 001 Incorrrect aircraft.cfg corrected
  • 1.04
    Added floater
Minimum beta has been changed from 0 to 12°
Beta range lights will lit when below 9°
    2D GPS popup added
    Fuel gauges fixed
    Transponder mode selector fixed
    Fuel low annunciator lights fixed
Firebell also active now with failures and icing disabled
    "Ready to Fly" code fixed

We have been working hard on these problems. Yes the Amphibean will be released next, But only for the -300 Series, No Amphibean as far as i now for the -100 series. As i am on the beta team i can not say much more than this for the mean time. Hope you areinjoying the Twotter as much as i have been testing it, Can't wait for the amphibean!!

Keith Talbot

Got the update downloaded and installed.   Looking forward to flying the new version.

Edit:  There's also a new "hot fix" (#2) available as well.  Set it up after the new 1.04 update.

Did they put rudders on the Twotters floats this time around?

Did they put rudders on the Twotters floats this time around?

Not "visible" rudders - but according to the developers, the invisible rudders engage in a range from something like 5-25 knots while on the water - so this remains visually true to the plane, but provides surface handling that is more effective than differential thrust alone, since even with Accufeel the hydrodynamics of FSX leave a lot to be desired...

You can find a more transparent 3 Blade effect texture here: http://www.lockonfiles.com/files/file/2617-aerosoft-twinotter-extended-3blades-effect/

System: Rysen 7-9700X, MSI Pro X870-P WiFi AM5 Motherboard, Team T-Force Delta 64 GB DDR5 6000 Mhz, Corsair RM1000x80 PLUS Gold, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Super Windforce 12GB OC, NVIDIA Drivers 610.47, 2TB WD Blue SN580 NVMe m.2  SSD for Windows 11 Home,  2TB WD Black SN850X NVMe m2 SSD for MSFS & Steam, LG 27GX700A-B 280 Hz OLED 27" 2560x1440 280Hz Monitor,  Thrustmaster Airbus flight stick, Logitech M510 wireless Mouse.

Now a GB download!

Is this the biggest FSX aircraft or are there bigger?

(Trivia but interesting)

Cheers
