November 8, 20232 yr On the RNAV(RNP) RWY 27 Zulu approach into San Diego, I've noticed that every time I disconnect autopilot a few hundred feet above minimums that the aircraft immediately applies max power (no toga) and completely deviates from the selected speed and over speeds. I've checked to tutorials a bunch of times and I'm doing everything right. Help? Carter Zang
November 8, 20232 yr Can you post a screenshot of this situation? In particular, it would be useful to look at the modes of the flight director and autothrust displayed on the PFD. Also, what is your physical throttle set to?
November 8, 20232 yr This is absolutely a keybinding issue; you've got something else bound to your autopilot disconnect. There's nothing in the systems of a 737 that would cause this. Andrew Crowley
November 8, 20232 yr Indeed. TOGA does not command itself on the 737, it's always because the Pilot pushed the button for it.
