November 29, 20232 yr This has probably been asked before, so I apologize for not finding a definitive answer yet. I have the GoFlight LTG, which has landing gear handle, flaps and trim. Also the older MCP that has the black faceplate. These are the only two I'd like to work. Which is easier--Spad or Polypot? I'd like to not have to do a bunch of programming. Any of these (or others) plug and play? Thanks much! Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.
December 4, 20232 yr Moderator @vp49p3, I have GoFlight modules T8, P8, LGT, GF166 and MCP/EFIS. All work well with Pollypot especially with the PMDG737 as a preconfigured set is supplied. Any powerful software is complex and requires a degree of investment in time and effort. I have configured controls for other aircraft making the use of my GoFlight kit I bought 20 years ago. It’s not so much programming as using the supplied software to assign actions to switches, buttons etc. I believe Pollypot will only work with MCPs with a firmware version of A25. Best to check with Steve at Pollypot. Ray (Cheshire, England).
