December 11, 20232 yr Moderator Hello Alex, v2.8.12 32-bit running on P3D v5.4 With the Google Maps option selected I'm seeing the sea colour change as I zoom in / out. It changes from blue to a lighter shade of blue. See attached screenshot. Is this a feature of Google Maps or is it configurable? Ray (Cheshire, England). December 11, 20232 yr Hi Ray, Google recently change their map style. I guess this is now mixing up new and old image tiles in the disk cache. Go to LNM "Tools" -> "Files and Directories" -> "Show map cache". Remove the folders "google-maps-def", "google-maps-sat", "google-maps-ter" or any other Google map theme folders to clear the cache. Restart LNM and it should look consistent again. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
December 11, 20232 yr Author Moderator Many thanks Alex. Cached folders deleted. Just a pity the new ones aren't as nice looking as the older ones. Ray (Cheshire, England). You're welcome.🙂 I only noticed the new Google style because I read articles in the news about it. Conclusion: Most people agree to you. The new style looks somehow bland. December 11, 20232 yr Author Moderator Hi Alex, I use LNM primarily to educate myself on geographical features, rivers and cities. I've tried the others but keep coming back to Google. Satellite and Terrain have better colours but the required info isn't there. But having a choice is great and thanks for your continued work on the best utility out there. 👏 Ray (Cheshire, England).
