December 14, 20232 yr Is there a reason, or is it a bug, that there are more Landings than Takeoffs in the flight log? I understand that can happen if I start in the middle of an approach, but sometimes I'm on the ramp, or doing a float plane takeoff from a sea port, and the log doesn't show I have a takeoff. I've also noticed that landings don't seem to be counted if they are in a sea plane either. Are these bugs, or am I missing something in the bigger picture?
December 18, 20232 yr Commercial Member FS-Simmer, Sometimes MSFS doesn't count the landings and takeoffs depending on the situation. In general, you need to have started on the RUNWAY to have the takeoff cleared and accounted for automatically. If starting at the RAMP you should request clearence from ATC to get the takeoff registered. For the landing, the same. You need to have requested a landing clearance to have it accounted. As for the WATER TAKEOFFS and LANDINGS, that is another of the game's misteries.

Interesting... are you using any network like IVAO, VATSIM, etc... ? And what about the takeoffs, do you get them without starting on the runway ? Best regards,

Best regards, The take-offs are indeed not registered. But the landings are. Yesterday I did 4 real life legs of Southwest without leaving the aircraft in between. After I was down the logbook showed 4 landings but no starts.

We are actually studing this new feature for FlightLog Analyzer: to be able to split multi-leg flights (registered in the game as one single flight) in its multiple flights (your flight would become 4 independent flights). What do you think about it ?
