Switch and lever animation, not working

Recommended Posts

Hello all. I’m in need of some assistance with an issues I’m having with the PC12. When I load the plane in cold and dark the landing gear is in the up position, I can’t move the PCL, or condition lever, and other weird things. I’ve tried toggling between legacy and lock in cockpit interaction. I’ve tried to uninstall and reinstall. PC12 worked great at one time. Then three weeks later it’s not working as before. It seems when selecting a switch or lever, it responds as normal, but no animation. Example the Generator 1 and 2 are in the on position in cold and dark. Yet red light on showing its off. When selected red light goes out. This is odd and unfortunately I’m not able to solve the problem. I look forward to a possible solution to this issue. Thank you community. - Kevin

Which sim?  FSX?  P3D?

As a first step, try starting the sim with a default acft at a default airfield, and once the acft is loaded and ready to fly, then switch to the PC12 so that there are no lingering state variable carryovers from your last flight.

Thank you for the reply. I’m using FSX. I’ll give it a try. But feel I’ve loaded a default plane and still no joy. Kinda an odd issue as this seems to be the only plane doing this. - Kevin

Update:

1. I loaded a stock plane,

2. switched to developer mode,

3. Switched to Pc12

4. Exited developer mode

Seems to work normally. However, it’s a strange thing to have to do this each time. Never had to do this before. Not sure what changed.

thank you for the tip - Kevin
