December 18, 20232 yr Hey all, after recently purchasing the C414 I unfortunately face issues with AaO ONLY with this aircraft. All the knobs are increasing/decreasing too fast and 'jump' so that it is nearly impossible to set a correct course or altitude etc. I have quite some hardware here (Bravo TC, Logitech Panels, Streamdecks) and everything works fine on the other aircrafts. But also the mouse-wheel has the same behaviour. I use the C414 streamdeck add-ons and scripts from flightsim.to but these seems not to have any of these "standard" inputs scripted - beside the mous wheel's behaviour. I made a topic in the Flightsimware's discord and s/o suggested checking the hardware. Only when I quit AaO the behaviour turns normal on all devices and re-occurres when starting AaO again. Has anybody any idea where I could look (and change) for these values or how to fix it? Thx in advance Ray

December 18, 20232 yr Author Logitech Flight Multi Panel -> AP-Knob (Alt,VS, etc.) Logitech Flight Radio Panel -> Comms-Knobs Bravo TC -> AP-Incr./Decr. Streamdecks (XL and +) -> Assigned buttons for AP (Alt, VS, HDG), Comms Mouse-Wheel on the cockpit knobs for HDG Bug, OBS, AP (ALT, VS, etc.) So after all, I am not able to use any device to adjust the values on any of the mentioned Inputs to have a linear incr./decr... ist "jumps" in 1000s or 100s.. As s/o suggested in the flightsimware Discord, there may be something also giving input to these controls. Quote sounds like you have a button or swtich on a HC bravo / Alpha that is configured in the MSFS controls and is causing the Acceleration to kick in When shutting down AAO the Logitech Panels, the Bravo TC and operating with the mouse all works fine. December 19, 20232 yr Commercial Member Sorry, no idea. This is obviously something that you have configured in AAO, but it is impossible to tell what that is from the outside. Sounds like it is the Logitech Panels? Is that what you mean, you can have everything running (=StreamDeck etc.) as long as you turn off the Saitek Panels in AAO? Has the configuration of those panels been adapted for that particular aircraft? (I thought that Asobo removed the control acceleration feature way back in the alpha. There you go then) LORBY-SI
December 19, 20232 yr Author I first need to clariufy that this is only affecting Autopilot Incr./Decr. and NOT the radios! OK... I traced it down to the Bravo Throttle Quadrant. I have not assigned any actions/axis in MSFS to the BTQ. All is done in AAO. Mix1+2, Prop1+2 and Throttle1+2 are bound to the axis. GEAR_SET up/dn is bound to gear handle and then I have fast trim up/dn and slow trim up/dn to the trimwheel, that's it for the template I imported the scripts for the 414 streamdeck profiles The Saitek panels are not aktivated in AAO (Hardware -> Saitek Panels Enable (no check)) Testing ALT in Autopilot Saitek Multi Panel = SMP Bravo Throttle Quadrant = BTQ BTQ disconnected -> ALT is incr/decr in 100s by Mousewheel, MouseClick on ALT-Knob, Saitek Multi Panel Rotary Streamdeck 414 -> AP ALT Buttons can controllable incr/decr in 100s BTQ connected && SMP disconnected -> ALT incr/decr in 1000s by Mousewheel, MouseClick on ALT-Knob Streamdeck 414 -> AP ALT Buttons incr/decr in 100s or 1000s but it's sensible and not predictable BTQ connected && SMP connected -> ALT is incr/decr in 100s or 1000s by Mousewheel, MouseClick on ALT-Knob, Saitek Multi Panel Rotary Streamdeck 414 -> AP ALT Buttons can NOT controllable incr/decr in 100s Using the default profile for the BTQ w/o AAO -> ALT is incr/decr in 100s by Mousewheel, MouseClick on ALT-Knob, Saitek Multi Panel Rotary So for me it seems that the BTQ is "giving" it's input although not configured in any way.. all the AP buttons on the BTQ are not working as I haven't configured them. Hope this might give you some clue or idea where I can further look for. Edited December 19, 20232 yr by galanarus missed sth
December 19, 20232 yr Commercial Member What are you using on the BTQ to control the AP ALT with? Maybe the C414 doesn't like that? Many aircraft require different control methods than the default SDK events. Edited December 19, 20232 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
December 19, 20232 yr Author I don't use any inputs on the BTQ ... I am only going for the axis for mix, throttle and prop, the trim-wheel and currently the Landing Gear lever. I haven't configured anything on the BTQ in MSFS and only the above stated inputs in AAO .. I cannot retrace that anything may interfere the incr/decr rate w/o being configured
December 19, 20232 yr Commercial Member Sorry, but I have no idea what to tell you. I have all your hardware too and none of these issues. But I don't have that particular aircraft either. LORBY-SI
