I just got the HF8 gaming pad for my VR sim setup for mostly airliner flying.  Im using it with the simhaptic app.   Its a cool effect, but the thing that I am missing most from it is when the intensity of the effect increases all it does is just vibrate at a higher frequency.  The sensations felt in a real airplane, especially and airliner are more of a shake than a vibration, and that is what im missing.  When going from light turb to moderate the "punch" should get stronger, not just speed up.  Has anyone owned the buttkicker and the HF8, is the buttkicker better for what I want it to do?  Is it possible to use both and send some effects to the hf8 and others to the buttkicker with simhaptic?
