Axis lag

Featured Replies

It's been like this for a long time now, but I remember it wasn't  all the time, namely if you suddenly add or reduce throttle, prop or mixture, the corresponding control in the VC reacts, but slowly, with a lag. Usually I don't mind cause I don't jerk the primary controls, but there are times when I do mind, like today when I tried to strart WB 172 by adding mixture and can't due to this 'effect'. Is there a fix for that? When did it start?

(BTW I don't use FSUIPC to calibrate axis, just the free version)

Some settings can be playing their tricks in your setup.

The "Reactivity" one is one of them, if away from the default 100% value.

Make sure your axis reactivity settings haven't been changed.

Thank you so much; I would have never thought of that!!!!

And true enough - I put reactivity to 100% in throttle, prop and mixture settings! Why? Because that enabled me somewhat smoother helicopter controls , so I thought it should benefit everything else!!! Silly me!!!

Now it's all fine! Thank you verymany!! :-)
