Waiting for SimConnect

Featured Replies

Happy new year everyone. I use Stream Deck and Axis And Ohs. I also use AirHauler 2 with MSFS. Today I updated to the latest version on Axis And Ohs(4.00 b46). If I start up Axis and Ohs first then try to start a flight in AirHaler,  AirHauler won’t connect to the sim. If i start a flight in AirHauler then try to open Axis And Ohs, Axis And Ohs won’t connect to the sim (Waiting for SimConnect”.It worked fine before i outdated to the latest version of Axis And Ohs.

Sorry, haven't heard that one before. SimConnect clients are supposed to just work in parallel.

AxisAndOhs is always bringing the latest SimConnect libraries with it, from the MSFS SDK at that date of release. In this case "Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect.dll" and "SimConnect.dll" with a timestamp of 27.10.2023 15:00.
The SimConnect client IDs haven't changed either, so there is no reason for a conflict there either. Except if your previous version of AAO was very old?

I've never heard of a conflict between SimConnect clients when one is using outdated libraries (in this case that would be AH2), but you never know of course.

I updated the SDK in MSFS and reinstalled AH2. Now it seems to be working fine 🙂
