January 21, 20242 yr Hi, I've somehow managed to add an 'Aircraft Automated Script' and I cannot for the life of me work out how to stop it running every time I load the aircraft up. I've spent the last couple of weeks trying but it's always there. Each time I load in the aircraft, or reset after a crash I have to select 'Scripting' - 'Aircraft Automated Scripts' and then remove script from the 'Manage Automated Scripts' box. It always comes back though. Is there a way to delete this permanently? I'm sorry to ask what I presume is such a basic question but I'm pulling my hair out. Thanks Dave
January 21, 20242 yr Commercial Member When you delete an autoscript, that is permanent. I have no idea how it can possibly come back. To be extra sure, click on the yellow harddisk button after deleting it? Things to look at: Is that automated script really part of the current config or is it part of a linked template? Then it has to be disabled in that Template. Is your current config the Master or just a Clone (=red bar across the top of the axis and button lists). You cannot disable the script on the clone, only the master. What script is that exactly, where did it come from? As a last resort - how about just deleting the script from the AAO database entirely? January 21, 20242 yr Author I did have a banner saying it was loaded from master. I clicked on that and its vanished and seems to be sorted now. Thank you for that. It's been driving me nuts. Not sure how I've managed to do that!
March 23, 20251 yr Same problem here: Deleted IFLY_737MAX_CDU It's back after a restart The only refererence I found was in LorbyAxisAndOhs_MSFS2024.exe Same for LSHMD_CDU PMDG also cannot be removed, but is not found in exe The only plane I have besides the default Basic is Fenix What are these script good for?

Just because they are listed in the database doesn't mean that they are doing anything, they are just there, nothing else. For those scripts to do their job, you would have to activate them yourself, by configuring them as Aircraft/Global Automated Scripts in the Scripting menu.
