Back into simming heavy investment.

Hey all.

 

So I just wanted to say hi. I have been into msgs since the beginning but always just casually. I’m retired now and went with a RealSimGear Modular G1000 setup with all the frills. I’m in the process of assembling everything this week. I’m excited to jump back into it. I am a Private Pilot, with Instrument Airplane rating. I got that back in 1990 Due to health issues, I’m grounded though. i’m hoping this helps with the sadness of that reality.

Welcome to Avsim!

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

Welcome.. and please let us know what kind of airplane you end up flying in the sim!

Suggest having a look at Rob Young's Turbo Bonanza mod, if the G1000 is your avionics choice..
