FSR500 tablet stuck at loading

Featured Replies

Hi.  My M500 had been working fine until this morning.  I had an issue where MS decided to start syncing my desktops and screwed up a lot of things.  I got that all straightened out but now when I load the M500 to do a flight, the EFB is stowed.  When I click the pocket to pop it out, the screen says it is starting up and waiting for the maintenance module to start.  I tried restarting FS, restarting the sim, restarting the PC.  I also deleted it in the content manager and reinstalling but no change.

Any ideas?  I installed WU16 as well.   MS store version of FS.  Thanks for any help.

This means there is a problem with the WASM module, can you send me a screenshot of the M500 installation folder and another of the panel folder?

Yea that looks good, so you mentioned msfs got corrupted. Basically the wasm module is not compiling and in hence why the tablet says waiting for wasm to start.

I would guess the msfs wasm working folder modules are messed up. 😕 I don't think this can be fixed unless you do a full msfs re-install..

Did you move msfs from one drive to another?

No, didn't move msfs.  Just the stupid MS decided to "backup" all my stuff from two computers and started putting each others icons on each desktop.

BTW, thanks for looking at this.  Appreciate the help.  Really enjoy the aircraft.  I'll do a reinstall of MSFS and see what happens.

Thanks again.

Hi Eric,

I currently have the same problem as you had earlier this year.

My FSR500 tablet is also stuck at loading despite everything seems to be installed correctly.

Could you please give me a reply if you've solved the problem and what did the trick?

Thank you very much

Best Regards

Jens

Hello Eric,

I just found out that the flightsim.to Mod "Piper Branding for the FSReborn FSR500" was responsible on my system for the endless maintenance module start on the tablet.

It seems to have become incompatible with the latest FSR500 update.

Best Regards

Jens
